A Journey of Growth – Aditi Rajput 🌟
When I joined Katyayani Organics in June 2023, I never imagined I’d be leading the HR function someday. Back then, we were a team of 20-30 people, and I started working in Business Operations while pursuing my graduation. Honestly, I didn’t even know I’d end up in HR! My journey began by working as a support, assisting wherever needed, and learning on the go.
I vividly remember sitting for an interview with our CEO, Mr.Vardhman Soni and later transitioning into HR under the guidance of Mr. Subhojeet, who was then leading the operations for Katyayani. He taught me everything—from Hiring to Compliances & gave me required exposure to excel at my role. I used to stay up late, studying the processes, and then applied what I learned the next day. From drafting offer letters to managing attendance, I literally started from scratch.
As the company grew, so did my responsibilities. We began hiring for the sales team, and our employee count jumped from 70 to over 150. It was exciting to meet people from all over India—Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha, Bengal, and beyond—and to take charge of diversity hiring. Celebrating their festivals like Pongal and Makar Sankranti together made the workplace feel inclusive and vibrant.
Katyayani has truly been the ladder in my career growth. I’ve grown so much here and don’t want to stop climbing. This company has given me everything I dreamed of—a place to learn, grow, and make an impact.
💡 On My Growth and Learning
I’ve always considered myself a quick learner, and that mindset has been a key factor in my growth. Taking on new responsibilities as the team expanded, pushed me to learn and adapt quickly, ensuring everything was handled smoothly and efficiently.
Even before Katyayani, I’ve been someone who adapts quickly. At 18, I moved to Delhi to become an air hostess. Though, at the same time, I got an offer from Katyayani, which aligned to my career goals and also involved interacting and representing the brand, which I loved the most and hence, I accepted the same. Looking back, that decision changed my life for the better.
🌟 What Makes Katyayani Special
One of the most memorable lessons I’ve learned here came from a mistake I made while managing compliances, during my initial years. I realized an extra amount had been credited and immediately informed my manager and CEO. Instead of focusing on the error, he said, “Jab tak aap mistake karoge nahin, tab tak aap seekhoge nahin” (Until you make mistakes, you won’t learn). That one line reflected the company’s solution-oriented culture. It wasn’t about pointing fingers but about solving the problem.
This mindset defines Katyayani. Everyone makes mistakes, but the support and encouragement I’ve received here have been incredible. It’s a culture where learning is valued above all else.
At Katyayani, I was encouraged to take ownership and had the freedom to make decisions with a clear focus on achieving our goals. This journey allowed me to collaborate directly with management, providing valuable exposure to different aspects of the business. Working with related entities, I gained insights into aligning HR objectives with broader business goals. This experience not only helped me develop a sense of ownership but also reinforced Katyayani’s commitment to fostering autonomy and trust among its employees.
