SYMPTOMS
Pre-emergence: Seedlings die before they emerge from the soil, resulting in an uneven stand. Post-emergence: Seedlings develop a lesion near the soil line, causing the stem to resemble a wire. The seedling may collapse, or it may continue to grow for a while.
