This policy covers every order placed on katyayaniorganics.com. If something has gone wrong with your order, this page tells you exactly what happens next.
What You Can Return
- Damaged in transit. The box or the container arrived broken, leaking or crushed.
- Wrong product. What arrived is not what you ordered.
- Missing items. Part of your order did not reach you.
- Sealed and unused product. Any unopened pack in its original packaging, returned within 7 calendar days of delivery, with seal, label and batch number intact.
- Product that fails verification. If an opened product turns out to be defective, mislabelled or different from what the label states, we test it against the batch record. Where the check confirms the problem, we refund or replace in full — opened or not.
What You Cannot Return
- Opened or part-used product, in the ordinary course. Once an agrochemical container is opened we cannot verify the contents are uncontaminated, and we are not permitted to resell it. This is a safety and regulatory limit, not a commercial one. The verification exception above is the one case where an opened pack is still covered.
- Field results. Covered in its own section below.
- Requests after 7 days, unless the product fails verification.
- Products bought from a dealer or another website. Those are handled by whoever sold them to you.
Damaged, Wrong or Missing Items
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Send photographs of the outer box, the shipping label, the product and the batch number.
For missing items, we also need an unboxing video. It has to show the sealed package with the label visible and run without a cut until everything is unpacked. Where an item is claimed missing, that video is the only evidence that can settle it, so a claim without one cannot be processed.
Worth doing anyway: record a few seconds whenever you open a delivery. It makes any claim immediate.
How to Raise a Return

We reply within 24–48 hours and give you a decision within 3 working days of receiving your evidence, or the returned product where we ask for it back.
What to send us:
- Your order number
- The batch number printed on the pack
- Photographs of the box, shipping label, product and batch number
- An unboxing video, for missing-item claims only
- A short description of the problem
Who Pays Return Shipping
When the fault is ours — damaged, wrong or missing — we arrange and pay for the pickup. Do not spend your own money on courier charges.
For any other reason, return shipping is paid by the customer.
Cancelling Your Order
Cancel free of charge any time before your order is handed to the courier. Call or WhatsApp +91 7000528397, or email support@katyayaniorganics.com with your order number.
Prepaid amounts return to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
After dispatch an order cannot be cancelled, but it may still be returnable under the sections above.
Why Field Results Are Not Covered
How a product performs depends on soil type, weather, water quality, spray timing, dose and equipment. None of those are in our control, so we cannot refund on the basis of yield or effect.
If something is not working as you expected, call our agronomists on +91 7000528397 before you spray again. The advice is free and it usually solves the problem faster than a refund would.
Documents We Need for a Refund
Prepaid orders: Nothing. The refund goes back to the card, UPI ID, wallet or account you paid from. No bank details, no ID.
Cash on delivery orders: We need account holder name, account number, IFSC, and a photo of a cancelled cheque or your passbook's first page. The account must be in the name of the person who placed the order.
Anything you send is used only to process that refund and is deleted within 90 days.
When Your Money Reaches You
Once a return is approved, the refund is credited within 5–7 working days. How long it then takes to appear depends on your bank.
You can take a replacement instead of a refund. Replacements ship within 3–5 working days of approval.
Where only part of an order comes back, we refund the value of those items plus any shipping charged on them.
Limits of Our Responsibility
We dispatch within 24 hours of an order being confirmed. Once a parcel is with the courier, delivery is in their hands, and Katyayani Organics Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, weather or local disruption.
If a parcel has not moved for 7 days, contact us and we will trace it or resend it.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to This Policy
Katyayani Organics Pvt. Ltd. may update this policy at any time. The version that applies to your order is the one published here on the date you ordered, shown by the last-updated date at the top.
