Fall armyworm

SYMPTOMS

FAW larvae feed on leaves, leaving behind rows of holes and skeletonized areas. Corn can tolerate some leaf damage, but feeding on the whorl can impact yield. If plants are infested early, larvae may move into the soil at the base of the plant and damage the stem.
