Collor Rot

SYMPTOMS

Early stages: Plants may appear dry and scattered in the field, with foliage that turns slightly yellow before death. Seedlings may become chlorotic. Collar region: The joint of the stem and root may turn soft, slightly contract, and begin to decay. The collar region may be covered with white mycelial growth. Infected parts: Infected parts may turn brown or white. Black dots, known as sclerotia, may appear on the white infected plant parts.
